A well stocked pantry is the key to an infinite amount of dishes but where do we begin when it comes to pantry staples from another cuisine? No 2 Chinese pantries are identical but you will see some usual suspects like oyster sauce, soy sauce, black vinegar, toasted sesame oil, shaoxing cooking wine and dried mushrooms. Chef Clara Park will discuss and demo the different ingredients ultimately leading to a hands-on cooking class where participants will make steamed pork and chive buns as well as shrimp wontons.
